Comments
Comments: certainly expecting the stream crossing to be worse than it was due to previous trail reports. the dry spring has kept it low it seems...easily navigable. climb was dry with only a couple of small patches of ice. in the col between the false summit and carrigain, there is a more significant amount of snow. annoying, but no spikes needed either direction, just be careful. love the views at the first viewpoint along signal ridge and the views on carrigain watch tower are great. high clouds, so no blue sky, but still could see about everything around you. a good first hike of carrigain!
