Comments
Comments: A great first hike of the season. Ascended Whiteface and Passaconaway, then camped at Camp Rich. One other party of two also stayed at Camp Rich. It was quite cool at night. Descended via the Walden Trail (difficult!) and Old Mast Road. Most trails are snow-free, except for parts of the Rollins Trail and quite a bit of snow on the spur to the north outlook on Passaconaway.
