Hancock Notch, Cedar Swamp, Hancock Loop, North to South
After a visit to the O's I had to hit the H's, I drive right by and it was 10:30am! I was treated to fast conditions on the O's so away I went. Not really any issues besides the swamps along Cedar Brook, until between peaks. I opted to go North then South, I would suggest going the other way to anyone heading out soon. There is more snow on the South Loop trail then the North and being pigheaded I slowed myself down trying to avoid spiking up. Finally I did and made a quick-ish decent. Always a good day in the mountains, blue skies, leaves popping out everywhere, fluffy white clouds and no bugs or tourists yet. Ahh. |
