Sabbaday Brook running high, we avoided crossings 1 & 2 by staying on the west bank until crossing 3, where we had to walk upstream to find a possible rock-hopping spot. For crossings 4, 5 & 6 we also went upstream to fallen logs across the stream, shinnied and balanced across on these. |

Reuben (golden-lab mix) enjoyed many baths in the stream, easily crossed |

Nice "field" of red trilliums and Dutchman's Breeches in bloom about 3 miles up the trail. |
