After yesterdays rain the streams were high. None were a problem to cross provided you were willing to step on rocks slightly underwater |

Lots of blowdowns on the ridge. I cleared some but big tools are needed |

| Comments: |
Carried spikes and glad we did. Alot of ice on the ridge and they were very helpful on the steeps up North. We kept them on to Middle though they probably were not necessary. The monorail is more unstable than stable and we postholed some. Still some pretty deep snow but it is rapidly disappearing. Pretty cloudy today but had limited views. Down low the white and red trilliums are out as are several other blossoms. Bugs were only bad at the end by the car...but they seem hungry. |
