| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Scaur Ridge has a few (old) blowdowns but the are easy to deal with. There was a nasty one near the Pine Bend Brook junction but we were able to cut it up and remove it.
The section from the Scaur Ridge - Pine Bend Junction to the South Peak still has debris and blowdowns dating back to Sandy but it is very manageable.
A couple of blowdowns from the end of the South Slide to the Livermore junction - but also easy to deal with. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Great day for Cinnilla and she handled everything with ease. Plenty of streams for "dip&drink" and none are difficult to cross. |

Not really. |

| Comments: |
Intermittent snow from about 3,200 ft.
100% coverage only from 1/4 of a mile after the Scaur Ridge - Pine Bend Brook Jct. and over to the South Peak.
Monorail was surprisingly stable and footing was pretty good (less so between Middle and South Peak).
Georg and I barebooted until the steep section leading up to the North Peak and then we put on microspikes. They were perfect for the job. Kept them on until a little after South Peak when we were sure there was no snow/ice (South slide is totally snow/ice free and completely dry). We carried snowshoes but they stayed on the pack today. |
