Parking/Access Road Notes: Zealand Rd is still closed, despite being snow free and clear of debris.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The (small)water crossings were a bit tricky but not overly difficult. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few different blowdowns, nothing that can't be avoided easily. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Probably a bit too steep for inexperienced dogs. 
Bugs
Bugs: Some mosquitos, black flies and even a tick! No swarms yet thankfully.

Comments
Comments: Above 3000 feet the trail becomes rather brutal. Unstable and collapsing monorail and slippery melting ice. Seems like it's melting fast, hopefully it will be gone soon.
