| Comments: |
Trail totally dry for about first 2.2 miles. A mashed monorail or small patches of soft ice\snow from there on up. Snowshoes took a ride and in my opinion not needed here till next winter. Talked to others who had taken Fishin' Jimmy, Kinsman Ridge from Cannon and High Cannon and all said light traction was adequate. I used old set of micros which worked fine on wet snow\slush. Only a couple of icy spots near top of Mt. Kinsman Tr. No ice on Kinsman Ridge Tr. today. Spectacular day and quite a few folks out. |
