Comments
Comments: Great sunny day for this hike. Dicey's Mill Trail was bare, and dry to about 1/10th of a mile before the jct. with the Rollins Trail. We put on spikes and walked a packed rail to the summit. The snowpack is only about 12" deep. Snowshoes are not needed. Light traction for the steeps to the summit cone is helpful. There is some ice here. The whole trail can be barebooted with care. Met up with Tim Kennedy on the trail and we summited and finished the day together. One moose this morning in the field next to the parking area. Lots of cars in the lot when we got back.
