| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
After reaching South Peak, no sign of the trail to Middle Tripyramid and had to bushwhack to the peak. Coming off North Tripyramid, the slide was snow- and ice-covered and very difficult (see comments). No sign of the trail at the base of the slide, postholing from there to the junction with Livermore Trail. |

| Comments: |
Tripyramid Trail from North Tripyramid to Livermore has been lightly traveled at the top, but easy to find and follow. The slide is extremely treacherous - loose rock for 500 yards or so, then snow and ice. Impossible even to stand without serious traction (microspikes won't do it). 4 feet or more of snow at the base and unbroken trail, tough trip out. The weather and views were beautiful, sunny and into the 60's. We will save a return visit for warmer times. |
