Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost: One light blue MSR snowshoe, somewhere between North Carter Trail/Carter-Moriah junction and South Carter. Email below if you see it, I will be out looking this weekend or Monday at the latest.

Comments
Comments: Snow-free trail to about 2500ft, then spotty snow increasing to snow cover with elevation gain. Monorail starting to form. Spring snow is slippery, even on the forming monorail, but stepping off results in post-holing. Monorail more narrow on the Carter Dome Trail - in some place just boot-wide, not even snowshoe-wide. Back down around 2500ft, the snow disappeared with just spotty snow sections on 19-Mile Brook Trail. Other than the bummer of losing a snowshoe (yes, my own fault for not securing it well on my pack!), the day was sunny, the skies clear and the views of Washington and friends fantastic.
