Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 1st brook crossing on ascent was crossable if you had a big stride but being 5'4" and a wimp about crossings, I walked upstream and crossed next to a downed tree
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Thank you kind person who trimmed that big blowdown on Jackson branch about 1/3 up past the Jackson/Webster trail divide
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any dogs today - not sure how they like monorails.
Bugs

Comments
Comments: How could the skies be any better! Luxuriated for a full hour at the summit. Ledges at top are dry and ice free. Put on spikes within .2 on ascent and kept on to the summit though removed to descend ledges. Put them back on and kept on to car. One smart person ascended from Webster carrying snowshoes and descended with them- a good idea although by the time you hit the trail branch junction the monorail is so narrow and consolidated that spikes are best.

I read earlier posts about 1-4 feet snow still at the top and didn't believe it. Well it's there, although today's temps really diminished the lower snow pack and monorail edges. Great place to welcome spring.
