Comments
Comments: Bare ground with some minor muddy places to about 3000 ft. This is basically where the snow line is. I barebooted to about 3200 ft. and put my snowshoes on. Monorail forming but no postholes. Snow was softening as the day warmed up. The summit was mostly bare. If you get this on a chilly morning, light traction would probably be enough, but snowshoes highly recommended for the warming temps. Still about a 3 ft. snow pack at elevation. Nice warm, sunny day. I had the trail to myself today.
