 | Comments: |
We opted for an in and out to avoid the Little River crossing and also to avoid driving two vehicles. We put on spikes at about 2500' where the snow started in earnest and used them all day. We had snowshoes but never needed them. The snow softened but we never broke through. Lots of snow up high, walking in the tree branches. Great day out. The trail between the Twins could be a little hard to follow when the foot marks melt out, because of all the snow, and because there are very few blaze marks showing going from South to North. On returning we saw many blazes going from North to South. |
