Comments
Comments: Aborted ascent to Mt. Madison due to gusting winds of +35mph, temps at 20 degrees with wind chill at -11 degrees. 2-3 feet of snow still in the woods above 2500'. Trail snow was frozen no need for traction or support. Snow was softening towards trailhead on descent. I took my time returning clearing blow downs and branches on trail. Noticed fresh moose dung at 2400'
