Great Hike. Hard packed heard path. No need for snowshoes today. Micro spikes were perfect. The Summit was very icy, 34 degrees with NW winds steady at 55mph. Glad I brought goggles and a face mask.
On the way down (in the area of the Mizpah cutoff) I saw two young men/boys headed up wearing cotton t's, shorts and sneakers. They asked if it was cold up there.... yikes |
