Ravine rd was pretty solid granular snow this morning, but was softening as i came out. it is a little rough. Gorge Brook Trail is solid packed. i wore snowshoes the whole way, not for flotation but for traction. and to keep the trail nice and smooth. no blowing snow today, it was all consolidated or crusty. very windy at the summit. it was cloudy, sunny, raining and snowing all in one short hike. |
