Comments
Comments: The original plan was to do the whole ridge but despite clear blue skies the whilping winds made going above treeline a bad idea, so we stayed in the trees and just did the southern half of the ridge. Started with microspikes in the lot - there were some slick spots on the Whitehouse Trail - and kept them on to the summit of Liberty. After Liberty we switched to snow shoes and kept them on over Flume and down the Osseo Trail. Lincoln Woods was iced over but managed to finish in bare boots.
