Early morning hike/snowboard. VERY solid snow and VERY windy. Had a little trouble skinning up the trail because the trail was basically solid snow/ice with a dusting of snow on top - backslid a couple times so I had to herringbone in the steep spots. Outstanding views from the ridge. Ski slopes were very solid - not much powder. Good to run into BigEarl on the trail!!!! Noone had been on the Sosman in a while - was fun to leave tracks there! |
