This was our 14th fire tower on the NH Fire Lookout Tower Quest and the second one of the day (see report for Red Hill). There was a lot of snow on the mountain. Snowmobile have the trail packed down quite well but,at one point I went off trail and postholed up past my knees. Overall it was a great day with great views. The road up from the gate adds about 1.1 miles and an elevation gain of around 700ft. We did video the adventure for anyone interested in seeing it, the link is below. |
