| Comments: |
Gorgeous day above tree line; sunny, very snowy and windy. Snowshoes a must; don't be fooled by the packed down melted and frozen snow at the trailhead. Snow is deep and soft starting only a short way up; deep snow up high and still cold and fluffy. I snowshoed to the summit of Adams and saw some who turned back due to lack of snowshoes. Sunglasses or goggles useful too. Very bright and windy though not terribly cold. |
