| Comments: |
Nice day to be out, no traction needed on the first few miles as the snow was still firm and not tool slippery. Snowshoes were used to ascend N Hancock and along the ridge to S Hancock to keep the trail in good condition. The snow started to soften by afternoon, but remained firm enough to keep us aloft without snowshoes. We wondered how much more softening would occur by Sunday as the forecast called for even warmer temps. |
