Comments
Comments: An unbelievable day - got a late start but It's been a while since I saw such clear blue skies and absolute white snowfields. Trees up high were just amazing snow sculptures. Brilliant sun required sunglasses up top. Trail was well packed out top to bottom - anything pretty well goes - saw a mix of bare boots, light traction, and snowshoes. wore hillsounds - had some balling problems in sticky snow generally above the Mizpah cutoff up to the alpine zone. Tracks up to summit drifted off Webster Cliff a bit. Numerous folks out today enjoying the amazing conditions. Trail out towards Eisenhower looked well packed and travelled (saw several parties coming off the summit of Eisenhower). Webster cliff down towards Mizpah was also broken out. Feel sorry for those that weren't out on the summits today.
