Comments
Comments: Very doable; easy barefoot up to the Osseo Trail junction, then the snow got looser and softened up, so it was snowshoe time. The trail was lightly tracked out, and not heavily packed down. Postholes at the beginning from barefooters, saw only couple of people on this trail, saw one barefooter turned around because did not have snowshoes with him and it made very hard going. Ladders past the downlook are covered in snow and you cannot see them; you'll need to make your own steps. The day was fantastic with clear views all around. Very fine views of Mt. Bond. Bring your own gravy for that yummy mashed potato snow.
