| Comments: |
Left Madison as a straggler from hike up Jefferson and Adams late last March; another solo pm grid summit. Valley Way in great shape, especially for a fast snowshoe descent; bare-booted up to hut, wore MSR Evo's up from hut to summmit and all the way down to the parking lot. Wish that I had remembered googles and face mask for the summit hike above the hut, as blowing snow from the north was fierce. Lots of clouds and wind aloft, but still decent views of the other northern Presi's. |
