| Comments: |
The trails were not broken out--from a 2/28 report, of use to galehead hut, we saw no signs of this trail being broken out. We lost the trail, so the Garfield Ridge trial that is now broken out will lead you directly to the hut. Lots of snow between South and Twin Twin. We did meet some hikers that came up the North Twin trail, so that trail also should be all broken out. Trail finding to North Twin was very difficult, as it was to Galehead, but as long as it last, all trails are now nicely broken out, to all three peaks from whatever direction you choose to go. |
