We were the only hikers on the trail, and our 10-month old Airedale puppy was having a ball on his first hike in the Whites. |

The trail was well packed, though the first 1/4 was beginning to turn into slush. We hiked in spikes the whole trip, but snowshoes with televators would do a good job on the steeps and slush. Eugene skied down, I buttsled the whole steep section enjoying the super sledding conditions. |
