Comments
Comments: Saw Michelle's post, so decided to go for the daunting south ridge route on Willey, a straggler from my pm grid hike a couple of weeks earlier. Fortunately, over a dozen snowshoers were ahead of me, so the trails are now well beaten down. All but four of these snowshoers continued north to Feild, so that part of the Willey Range Trail also should be broken out now. Only the upper five steps or so are exposed on the lower ladders. Superb snowshoe tele-skiing on packed trails made for a fast trip down.
