Comments
Comments: What a day! The trail is now broken out from parking lot to summit! (and not a step further) We followed tracks of a solo hiker from yesterday, but once at the cabin those tracks were completely blown in/drifted over, so we tried our best to stay on trail, but meandered around a bit, finding a blaze here and there. We were SUPER excited to see summit signs! I was also super excited to almost step on a ruff grouse that was bedded down in the snow and flew up out of the snow like a cannon! Ahhh! Pretty windy day, can't say that our tracks might be drifted in soon. Great day out. Huge thanks to Keith who started before us and broke trail for 3 miles! and left us with pizza for the drive home!!
