A group of seven were ahead of me that packed out a nice trail. I passed them and broke trail to South Kinsman. The trails are nicely packed out by now despite some barebooters because the majority of hikers I met wore snowshoes. Despite spring it was a very wintry hike with beautiful snow-covered trees and some blustery wind when you got to the summit of South Kinsman. Great to meet so many familiar faces today. |
