Comments
Comments: Snowshoes all the way! Met a group that had stayed at the hut for a couple of nights and said they broke out many trails. Thank you to this crew who did all the hard work. 19 Mile Brook Trail is packed out well but still soft. Carter Dome trail to Zeta pass was packed with some drifting. From this intersection to Carter Dome there were many drifts, but a trench could still be seen in most places. Windy and drifty up high but still a splendid day for this hike. A winter wonderland in the mountains! Everyone I saw, except 1 guy on 19 Mile Brook trail, was wearing snowshoes! Yeah!

Note: Carter Dome Trail from hut was broken out too. Carter-Moriah Trail towards South Carter was also broken out. The crew who stayed at the hut had also broken out Wildcat Ridge yesterday.
