Comments
Comments: I was very happy to see tracks leaving the parking area and very happy everytime I turned a corner and saw the tracks continued!! They turned towards Ethan Pond trail and then there was one lone set of tracks coming down from Willey! Yeah! Not sure I would have made the summit without those tracks (thank you!!) Trail is still very powdery and not packed down at all (snowshoes a must) The steep/ladder section was do-able for me in snowshoes with a good toe crampon..........I descended backwards, saving the nice toe steps for the next hiker. There is ice there and it is tricky to descend.....some may be more comfortable in crampons. for those really interested, I took a couple pictures, email me and I'll send them along. I wore snowshoes car to car.
