Took Liberty Springs from the bike path. Bare booted from the parking lot to the Flume Slide Trail/Liberty Springs trail junction, then microspikes to the summit. Barebooted from the summit down to about 2000ft, then microspikes on the way out to deal with some of the icy rocks. Literally no wind on the summit... very eery but beautiful. No other hikers the whole day. |
