Comments
Comments: Trail is complicated by frozen post holes. I locked out my knees twice on the descent as it was late in the day and the shadows smoothed out the trail in a dangerous way. I wonder how many injuries these post holes have caused? Prior to yesterday I might have made the same mistake as these hikers did in hiking a soft snow pack without snowshoes, but I definitely would not do so now I see the result. Summit views were spectacular. 2nd hike of this day in order to sneak in a one final peak for my winter series (27/48).
