We wore light traction all the way but not knowing what to expect higher up we carried Snowshoes. Trail was solid beneath an inch of packed powder. A couple of steep icy spots were easily negotiated alond the side. Summit cone was windy and mostly bare with small spots of drifted snow. Very enjoyable short hike on a late winter day. |
