Like Raoul, Owls had me tuckered also and I did not have the legs for Jefferson or Washington Monroe. Congrats to Bill for SSW48. Trail up Jackson was well packed and solid. I used snow shoes as did most others but spikes would have been ok. Got to stay for an hour and a half on the summit enjoying the views which were spectacular. Spoke with a very nice group from Stratham who are just beginning their Winter 4K journey. Way to go!! All in All a great day. Hoping next weekend is just as nice to finish winter! |
