Comments
Comments: MSR snowshoes were the ticket for traction, avoiding postholing and to some extent curing some of the boot churn and holes of the barebooters. I also used the televators in places. The path through the blowdown that Silverfox recommended is now well packed, but it does require a crawl under. The ledges weren't bad going down despite some postholing in places. Barebooters from the day before made it a rough morning in places due to the frozen Blueberry trail from what Gary & Guy told me; Dicey's had just a little of that but there were two barebooters still on the trail at Rollins, and they perhaps could be the last ones down Dicey's, so it could be chopped up.

It was a beautiful day on the trails, with very few people seen or at the parking area. It was so nice to run into Guy and Gary on Rollins for a chat; funny how a few minutes just makes the whole hike better. Thanks Pepper.
