Comments
Comments: Wore snow shoes all day - didn't need to the flotation but gladly used the traction. There didn't seem to be any fresh snow and very little wind blown snow on the trails. There was sufficient snow cover along the entire route with the only exception being a small section between Adams and Jefferson where the exposed rocks tried to entice you to take your snow shoes off. The section was so short it wasn't worth it. Got started too low for the Randolph Path and had to work our way slightly uphill to get back on line - use the higher line closer to Edmunds Col if you go that way. The exposed section of Randolph Path was hard packed but the section from treeline to a out a mile from Lowes Path was very soft - we had 10 in our group and a group of four followed us so it may set up nicely for tomorrow.
