Comments
Comments: stupidest thing I've ever done in my life--went up wildcat ridge out of pinkham. Beginning was packed, luring me into false sense of thinking it'd be broken all the way up. Everyone before me turned around when it got really steep leaving me to break from about 1/4 mile up WRT to the top of peak E. From there it got easy, but I was already blown out. Was planning on doing carters, but after eating lunch @ carter hut, I realized I was soaked, cold, and exhausted and hypothermia was a distinct possibility up on the ridge. Bailed. Will return to conquer carters another day. Ran into 2 parties at Carter, including one fellow named Dale.
