| Comments: |
Champney Falls Trail up to falls spur trail is packed snow -- barebootable, but light traction helps. Past that section and up to the last section of the Piper Trail before climbing the summit cone, snowshoes. Traction is helpful on summit cone -- plenty of blue ice on the ledges with just a bit of powder hiding it makes for some slippery conditions.
Went up the Middle Sister Trail to the first set of ledges (on First Sister) -- beyond that, trail is unbroken. |
