Comments
Comments: felt good to see the sun today. Ravine Lodge Road well packed out and easily bootable. Some snow around the lodge but once back in the woods trail was well packed with an inch or so of fluff down low. Snowshoes went on at the reroute and stayed on most of the way back down. Snow depths increased above 4000 feet with 4-8 inches of dense snow at that point. The bare booter that i had been following all day put on snowshoes at tree line and kept them on the rest of the way so trail should be in pretty good shape. Sweet snow shoe trek down..amazingly saw only a couple of skiers on the road on this gorgeous day. The sun seemed really bright after having been in the fog for a couple of weeks. Warm temps and mild breeze made this an excellent Moose day. For a change this one was in the clear though most other peaks appeared to be in the clouds. Great day out
