Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Limited space at Lafayette Place. I missed the no parking signs, turned into the summer trailhead lot, and promptly got stuck. Thanks to the three snowmobilers who gave me a push. Another car was stuck when I got back to the trailhead, so I helped give them a push.

Comments
Comments: The trails got a lot of traffic on Saturday, most people were wearing snow shoes. The Lonesome Lake trail was well packed out. Fishin' Jimmy, and KRT had some fluffy powder on top of a firm base. Coming back down there were a few bare/icy patches that required caution. Things should be well packed as there were perhaps 40 or so people out.

Visibility was low up top, but the rime-covered trees up high were awesome. I left the hut at the same time as another hiker, John, and we ended up hiking together the rest of the day. A great day to be out!
