Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Largest crossing was rock hoppable. Many of the smaller step-over snow bridges in the first mile of the trail held nicely on the way out (with snowshoes) but a large group of bare-booting backpackers punched through every single one. Still pretty easily negotiated with large steps and jumps.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Cleared 4 small blowdowns across the trail.

Comments
Comments: Haven't seen any posted reports on Carrigain this week, but it appeared to have been heavily traveled this weekend. We wore snowshoes start to finish. Nice snowshoe track all the way to Signal Ridge where the drifting starts to obscure tracks here and there. Took the broken track up to the summit which was a bit of a messy bushwhack up the opposite side through some thick stuff. Decided to break out the proper trail on the way down and blocked off the entrance to the bushwhack route. We are not big fans of the re-routed sections, skipped the upper-reroute on the descent staying on the old trail and it was fine.
