Comments
Comments: Our group of 10 did this traverse from south to north. Trail broken out to Bondcliff, but wasn't from there to Guyot campsite turn. All sections now well-packed, except exposed areas which drifted in within 5 minutes due to gusty winds. Snow depths 4-6' above 4K'. Snow is dry & well-packed but snowshoes were necessary except for the Wilderness trail.

Was surprised to see extensive snowmobile traffic the entire length of the FS road, including at least one ski trail which had been clearly marked. It's been several years since I've been on this road in winter, and this use is very different from when I was last there. Snowshoes or skis were needed on the road - the snowmobiles chewed it up, making the footing rather soft.
