Comments
Comments: Snowshoes car to car today - started out packing down a few inches over existing pack on Zealand Road. Zealand Trail was a packed out sidewalk to the hut as we passed multiple groups that had stayed overnight. Twinway appeared to have been broken out yesterday, we just took care of the 2-3" inches from the overnight. A bit of a breeze just past Zeacliff with some mild drifting across the open area, but we were able to follow the trail with relative ease. No issues to the summit and back out. We were hoping for a possible Bonds traverse, but with poor visibility above 3000' and along the ridge, we reluctantly decided to try another day - there were fairly visible tracks towards Guyot though, looks like someone went through within the past few days. Thanks Ali and Hannah for another great day.
