Love the MSR snowshoes with heel lifters! Gorgeous scenery even in the clouds. Mild temps made it a breeze up top with a little wind but nothing to make it uncomfortable. Met lots of great people, most adequately equipped with snowshoes. The few who went with micro spikes were post-holing in the soft snow. The trail is in great condition despite the postholers. Not the first time to the Kinsmans, but first time up the Kinsman trail and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Training for Cali in September and loving it!! |
