Once we got above treeline visibility was non-existent. We manged to get up to the Gulfslide Trail but the only tracks we could see were heading over to Washington. The Jewell Trail is beautifully packed out below treeline and above it is mostly snow covered with a few rocks showing. We decided to err on the side of safety and head back down the way we came. |
