Comments
Comments: These conditions might be moot with the coming storm. Crawford Path is well packed up to Webster Cliff Trai. From there we followed one set of tracks all the way to Eisenhower. Trail should be well packed and easy to follow at this point. Webster Cliff Trail from Pierce to the hut was untracked and we broke trail in about 4-5 inches of new snow. From the hut to Mount Jackson trail was mostly untouched and any previous track was not visible for most of the way. We broke trail in 8-10 inches of snow. Around the bogs we lost the trail and did a little wandering but found the trail and got back on track. Webster-Jackson Trail is in excellent shape.

Due to the soft snow currently on the trail I would still recommend snowshoes. Visibilty between Pierce and Eisenhower was poor and care was taken to follow the track.

Good day out with John and Ken. It was great to get that winter feel between Pierce and Jackson. LOTS OF SNOW!!!
