Comments
Comments: Soft packed powder once we got to the trail head all the way to the turnoff for Zealand's summit, curtesy of the large number of Hut campers who hiked/skied out on Monday or hiked over to West Bond. There was ankle-deep snow over previous tracks on Zealand Road, which was easy to break through. Great conditions for hiking but we skipped the viewpoint as all was socked in with clouds. Snowshoes all the way.
