Comments
Comments: Trail packed solid from parking until ski trail cut off. From there unbroken. Looked like nobody had been there in quite some time. Followed a fresh set of prints for a while but decided to stay with the trail until height of land. Made first tracks to Engine Hill bushwhack where we opted for a whack further west of the usual route which had not seen any recent traffic. This whack was shorter and gained the Isolation Trail south of the previous mentioned whack. Continued on to the summit making first tracks following the trails most of the time. Followed our track back out which was a lot quicker than going in. Great day out with no wind, light snow falling and temps in the 20's. Thanks to Steve M., Mike L. Bill C. Bill S. and John G. for a great hike.
Depending on how much new snow is obtained the previous track will allow a good route to Mt.Isolation. There are some variables, so pick a track and enjoy the day.
